ASUW Agenda
There was no new agenda at Tuesday’s senate meeting. Senators held an elections forum.
At the Board of Directors meeting, current SARVA assistant director Katie Peterson was hired as the director for the 2013-2014 term.
Also, Pierce Young, who currently serves as a mechanic in the Bike Shop, was hired as the ASUW Bike Shop manager for 2013-2014.
ASUW jobs are still open online, and various jobs close every Sunday until May 19, the final closing date.
On Friday, the ASUW budget for the next fiscal year was approved by the Services & Activities Fee (SAF) committee. Extra money that wasn’t requested was approved for RSOs, the Graduate and Professional Student Senate (GPSS), and the HUB. The budget now awaits approval from the Board of Regents.
The Daily held the last Elections Administration Committee (EAC) sponsored forum on Friday in Gowen 301.
Voting will take place May 13, 14, and 15. Students can vote at vote.asuw.org.
The next senate meeting will be held Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in Gowen 301, and the next Board of Directors meeting will be held Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the HUB, room 303.
