  This is a fine neighborhood bike shop. They've always done good work for me at good prices. Everyone there has always been gracious and courteous. In a dozen encounters,  I can't recall a neutral or negative experience.

  Two mechanics helped here for a tune up, Anthony and Dave.  Anthony did the fitting, Dave was there when the bike got picked up and advised some goodies had been thrown in to my benefit.  I rode the bike home and noticed the shifter was loose so I gave them a call. Lo and behold, Dave said he'd stop by my house to check it out and see if he could be of help.  Can you believe it?
  Within the hour he was here and he adjusted my shifter in, like, 30 seconds.  Ever since then the bike has been fantastic!  
  In a time of poor customer service, these guys are a fresh breeze.  I'm all about supporting local, these are keepers.

  I have been in this store twice.  Once last year and once yesterday and both times were exactly the same.  Visited the store during the week and was not aknowledged a single time in the 10 minutes I spent walking in circles.  I figured the time I visited last year may have been a fluke so I gave it another try but will never be back again.  
  
  Two young kids stocking/inventorying, one women back and forth behind the register and some other gentleman walking around plus the mechanics.  No one asked if I needed help or that they 'would be right with me.'  
  
  They must be doing something right because they are still in business but I will be buying my bike elsewhere.

  Found myself stranded at the Metra station with a flat front tire. Limped into the Bike Shop. Went to the service entry in back & was helped immediately by a young woman mechanic. She noticed the brakes had an issue as well and fixed them too. Super quick service & made my train. A great experience!

  I was told to go here my many people that I race/ train with. I was not impressed. The workers seemed more inconvienced that I was there. Not interested in helping me get the work done to my bike I needed. For all the rave reviews I had heard that was not what I was expecting.
