LEWISTOWN - Rather than traveling all the way to State College, local dirt and street bike enthusiasts need only travel down Fourth Street to find specialty parts and apparel.

Too Wheels Cycles, owned by Dave Seiler, provides anything from handle grips to sprockets and tires to helmets at 10 to 15 percent off market prices. Special orders are available for anything not found in store, Seiler said.

"It's really difficult to get parts locally and opening a bike store is something I've always wanted to do," Seiler said. "When you walk in, it does look geared toward dirt bikes, but we have so much more. We can even order parts for jet skis or snowmobiles if we need to."

Seiler has been riding bikes since he was 5 years old, getting into serious racing when he was 12. After having a family, he took a step back and watched as his kids got into the sport. Now, with everyone grown up, he started racing again and opened Too Wheels Cycles.

"I might not have always been riding, but it was always a part of my life," Seiler said. "The store has done really well since we opened in May, especially since there hasn't been any real advertising."

Too Wheels Cycles is planning to hold a grand opening event from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 22 at its 713 W. Fourth St., Lewistown, location. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. For more information, call 953-9703.
