Rocky Mountain Edge 24 Bike 2013
Rocky Mountain Bicycles humbly began in the basement of a Vancouver British Columbia bike shop, in 1981. The employees first imported bikes to sell to their customers. Later, they began manufacturing and importing frames to their exact specifications. Rocky Mountain now produces mountain bikes, road bikes, and urban bicycles. The company has come quite a ways from their modest beginning; however, their core values have never wavered. Rocky Mountain Bicycles is just as sought after now as they were in 1981.
The Rocky Mountain Edge 24 was designed for the up and coming rider. If your child has taken a liking to cycling, get him/her a serious mountain bike. The Edge 24 features a high quality aluminum frame and high performing entry level components. 50mm of travel allows your child to start riding over rocks and pint size drops, and calms the uneven terrain. Shimano drivetrain components are reliable and strong. The Edge 24 features 3 front gears and 7 rear gears to get your child acclimated with both front and rear shifting. Like the Edge 20, the Edge 24 also features V-brakes to further reinforce hand braking. The neutral frame geometry will allow your child to remain comfortable, no matter the terrain they are riding.
