Experts teach kids to mountain bike this summer
Kids age 6-8 & 9-12 can learn to mountain bike in camps starting June 3.
Have fun with other kids your age while exploring single-track trails in the Foothills. Participants will develop skills in basic maintenance, first aid, safety, etiquette and fitness as well as technical riding techniques.
This summer's mountain biking classes include:
- Trailblazers Youth Mountain Biking (ages 6-8 & 9-12)
- Trailcrusher Youth Mountain Biking Camp (ages 9-12)
- Go Girl and Ride (age 9-12 & 12-16)
- Get Fit Mountain Bike (ages 13-17)
- Intro to Downhill Mountain Biking (ages 12-17)

The camps are offered by Boise Parks & Recreation in partnership with the Southwest Idaho Mountain Biking Association.
Camps meet at Fort Boise Community Center, 700 Robbins Road. Costs vary. To register, see or call (208) 608-7680.
