“Consistent burly climbing for a stellar, freeride downhill”
— Josh Gage on Jun 7, 2013
Overview
Leverich has become the most popular biking trail in Bozeman and for good reason. Consistent climbing awards riders with a modern, banked, burmed downhill. Description
This is a mixed use trail so watch out for hikers and other users. About 100 yards after you leave the parking lot you'll come to a junction. It is suggested that bikers go left at this point and continue ascending.
You'll climb steadily upward until you reach the ridgetop. At this point you'll follow the ridge up and down until arriving at an old mine. After the mine you'll continue climbing until reaching an intersection with an old logging road. Go right at this junction and follow the trail until pumping up one last little climb and arriving at the top.
After this point its all downhill passing several banked corners, burms and airs. Watch out as some riders push their bikes up this section and hikers also use the trail.
