The Yukon series by Giant provides a lightweight balanced bike that does a good job of keeping you on the road whether it is on urban streets or a steep mountainous trail tucked back in the woods.

Front and rear adjustable disc brakes gives an individual the stopping power not commonly found on bikes in this price range, but usually on a much more expensive end. An adjustable seat and post makes it easy to adjust to riders of all shapes and sizes with the option of swapping out the saddle for one that provides added comfort for those longer rides. A wonderful set of pedals adorns this bike and gives good traction when transitioning into the gears on steep uphill transitions. A relatively quick response is found when you take off on this bike with a budget gear structure that can make your friend question their higher priced bike.

Being a hardtail we like to find fault in the shocks and that is just not the case on this bike. A dual adjust set of front shocks keep the forks in check and allow you to lock out if that is your pleasure. It gives you relative forgiveness when traversing the tricky downhill paths on a xc bike and the overall stance of the bike will keep you leaned back with your chin up to see what is over the next bump.

In total Giant found a way to make a quality bike in the Yukon that won't hurt the wallet too much if you want to get out and tear it up; ride safe and take lots of pictures.
