The Croom recreation area is one of the best places to ride atvs and dirtbikes in the world. There are 2600 groomed acres of shaded riding trails and lots of groomed, marked smooth trails, along with a fenced beginners areas, fenced circle tracks, 50 acre sand bowl, picnic tables and Lots of hills to play on.
The recreation area is open from 8am to 5pm - OPEN EVERYDAY INCLUDING HOLIDAYS. The Park is easy to get to from I-75 to exit 301 ( sr50 ) located on the NW corner. Croom's address is ( 6385 La Rose Rd - Brooksville, Fl 34602 ) There are lots of places to eat at the exit for breakfast, lunch and dinner like, Cracker Barrel, Mcdonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Subway, Beef o' brady's and Denny's. It is just short 30min drive north from Busch Gardens and Tampa, 1hr from Disney World and Orlando, 1 1/2hrs from Clearwater / St Pete Beaches, 2hrs from Fort Myers and Daytona beach, 3hrs from Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Naples or St Augustine and 5 hours from Miami / Fort Lauderdale.
